Saturday, October 18, 2014 - 2014 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/14/2014-10/21/2014 (New York City, NY): A blend of 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, this medium red/garnet wine shows bright red currant fruit, supported by cinnamon, cocoa, loamy earth and dried herbs. On the palate it is medium-bodied, fleshy, freshly acidic and seamlessly alcoholic. The tannins are now nearly resolved. Solid in the middle and lengthy on the back end, it is currently fully mature and drinking beautifully. This wine should continue to provide pleasure for another 6-8 years. Drink now-2022.
