Wednesday, April 22, 2015 - Cheval Blanc and D'Yquem dinner with Pierre Lurton and Bernard Burtschy (Taberna del Alabardero, Washington D.C.): Medium/perfumed nose, medium fresh red fruits, raspberry and strawberry, lead pencil, mineral, flower, leather and earth. Medium concentration, mineral and medium finish. There is a hint of bitter note that clips the finish short. Really enjoyable Cheval Blanc nose.
