Thursday, October 15, 2015 - Antinori Winemaker Dinner (Scarpetta, Beverly Hills): A bit more advanced than I expected, a fairly sudden development which makes me wonder how much staying power the wine has. A gentle bouquet of herbs, sweet fruit and leather. Fully resolved on the palate, more finesse than power. Some barnyard stuff amidst the sweet fruit. Based on this bottle, I'd drink up.
