Monday, December 28, 2015 - Not a pop n pour. I missed older notes about giving this wine time to breathe and simply poured without benefit of Venturi or time in a decanter. First taste was not a typical tightness, rather is was coarse and nasty. Opened up after 20 - 30 minutes of swirling in the glass. I will leave the remaining bottles to age a bit more before opening. Went well with pasta and tomato sauce.
