Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 2016 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly, Alan and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/3/2016-11/12/2016 (Villa D’este, Lake Como, Piedmont, Milan and Frankfurt): The overall expression is similar to the 09 but slightly thinner and green. Medium expressive nose displaying blackberry, stem, pyrazine, tea and Asian spices. Medium concentration, slightly hollow middle palate, stem, medium acidity and a medium finish. Enjoyable but not worth the price it commands.
