Thursday, December 18, 2003 - Tasted unblinded at Region restaurant. Bottle provided by Ken Johnson. Bright disc. Deep ruby/garnet robe with red rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense aromas of black cherry, dark chocolate, tar and marzipan. Full-bodied on the palate, with low-to-medium acidity and big sweet tannins. Long, smooth finish. Delicious now, but should improve with additional time in the bottle.
