Wednesday, February 8, 2017 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #116; Rhône; small appellations. (@ My place by WW): In the bouquet yellow tropical fruits, pear, vanilla and good oak. On the palate the oak is evident but beautifully dosed and adds to the complexity. A bit fat in a pleasant way. Mango, bees wax, minerals, good acidity and soft bitterness. Overall a lush wine.
