Sunday, March 26, 2017 - Great wine which is reasonably priced in a fantastic vintage. Colour is yellow to slightly green. On the nose the lime hits you immediatly, followed by flinty, slightly smokey character maybe hint of almond somewhere. On the palate perfect level of acidity. Some green apple. This wine certainly has tension and nerve. Sauzet keeps it all masterfully under control as it's all hormonious and balanced. Fantastic wine on village level. Only thing missing is the deeper layers and complexities from you get from the 1er and grand crus. This is a step (or two) up from Bouchard's CM and Faiveley's PM village entries which were both more than decent efforts.
