Tuesday, June 27, 2017 - Needs 3 years in bottle. Double decanted this wine, which helped considerably! This wine poured a dusty rose color into the glass. Black cherry dominated the nose, but there was also some blackberry and graphite. The entry showed a blackberry front, a little darker and floral in the middle. Finish is also quite floral, still rather acidic and lots of stiff oak tannin. Dusty and shale stone rich finish. Enjoyable classic Rutherford cab that doesn't try to be something it isn't. GREAT family owned boutique winery off the Silverado Trail. I cannot possibly sound more like a broken record then what I do giving my complete and total support to this Winery who puts heart and soul into everything they do. Pride shows in every bottle.
