Thursday, August 3, 2017 - Lovely raspberry color with good, but short-lived bubbles. Bouquet and flavor of raspberries but with a bit of greenness, making the wine less appealing, but still enjoyable enough and better than the first bottle. The impression might have reflected the setting, as my wife and I were back at our favorite Vietnamese restaurant having wonderful udon noodles with a mélange of vegetables and chicken. Very tasty, and as Julia Child would have said: "Bon appetite."
