Another wine that lives up to the theme tonight - over the hill. These big behemoths just don't age this long. Get'em while the fruit is there and can compete with the alcohol. Not as bad as the Greenock Apricot, but still, no longer balanced - assuming it was at one point. Peppery, blackberry, baked plum, a hint of more mint than actual eucalyptus, wood, and alcohol on the mid palate through the finish.
