Friday, February 9, 2018 - Expressive nose, but very delicate and elegant perfume, cool blueberry and damp soil minerality. With more air this is gaining an elegant Chambolle spice in the blackberry and dark cherry aroma. Flickers of sulphur? Some darker cherry and coffee character too. Clean and pure on the palate. Good weight and great blackberry power lurking. I've always found Mugnier stylistically very soft and delicate, but this bottle was a particularly big and energetic showing, even standing up to an '01 DRC RSV alongside.
