Sunday, October 14, 2018 - Vinetasters: 2001/2005 Joh. Jos. Prüm (Skokie, IL): #14-06, 7% abv. There's almost a slight bit of spiciness on the nose here, but there's a lot of honeyed sweet fruit as well. Clearly sweeter and less overt cut than the 2001, with a bit of a sugared or candied quality here. Mouthwatering acidity helps to balance the fruit, but there's a slight hint of a more roasted character here than the very clean 2001.
