Sunday, November 18, 2018 - At a tasting last month where we compared over 40 2016s.
I liked this wine so much from barrel sample a year ago that I bought it in halves, bottles and magnums. Had my fingers crossed before retasting a year on in case that was a big mistake - I needn't have worried. Good nose, sublime balance, loads of soft tannins and fruit, very long finish. Great value.
