Thursday, January 10, 2019 - Dominated by dark red fruit, cherries, plums, ripe strawberries, dry wood, bay leaves, a hint of black pepper and black olives. There is a touch of hay and barnyard, but not to the degree that it bothers me.
Dry with a medium acidity, dry tannins, medium to full bodied and a medium+ intensity.
Quite like this wine, maybe a bit tight and young on the palate, but generous on the nose and with potential for the cellar.
