Still an opaque crimson in color, this blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre is loaded with ripe black fruit, accented with white pepper, smoked meat and Provençal herbs. Full-bodied, fresh, judiciously oaked and with nicely integrated alcohol (listed as 14.5%), it stays dense on the mid-palate, has fine-grained tannins and finishes long. This delicious red drinks well above its price point! Enjoy it over the next 3-4 years. Drink now-2024.

Dark red fruit - cherries and blackberry, earthy and herbal but not over powering. Good balance and soft tannins leading to a soft fruity finish, went well with rack of lamb

Slight darker plum color. Medium to full body. Raspberry notes. A big sweet on fruit, slight peppery. With bitterness comes after. More enjoyable with cheese. Medium finish.

Dominated by dark red fruit, cherries, plums, ripe strawberries, dry wood, bay leaves, a hint of black pepper and black olives. There is a touch of hay and barnyard, but not to the degree that it bothers me.
Dry with a medium acidity, dry tannins, medium to full bodied and a medium+ intensity.
Quite like this wine, maybe a bit tight and young on the palate, but generous on the nose and with potential for the cellar.

Lots of dark jammy fruit. Some hints of menthol in the background but too much fruit for it to be interesting. Unfortunately the menthol disappeared with some of the fruit on day 2 so it never reached the balance I hoped for.

Decanted for 4 hours to try to get the barnyard smell out but was not able to. while I know many wines from rhone have this but it was just too much. You can detect behind the smell good concentration of blackberries and black cherries as well as some licorice but they stay in the background. While it is not an expensive wine for the price I would not rebuy.

Très gourmand, sur les fruits rouges et un peu poivré. Magnifique avec des grillades.
