Wednesday, June 5, 2019 - Wednesday Mini on the Deck (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Light salmon color. Drank 2 glasses over 90 minutes. This is a very serious Rose Champagne, complex and exciting. The nose is rather explosive starting with a burst of fresh sea air, yeast and stony minerality followed by the red cherry and more subtle berry notes. The palate is penetrating, with excellent intensity, a bright sea breeze and almost exhilarating minerality as the red fruits mark that keeping time wonderfully. There is a touch of citrus and apple peel toward the finish which goes nicely long. This has the complete package of fruit, minerality, balance, acid and grace. Love it again. This bottle also had a couple years additional cellar time. 92+ to 93pts.
