Thursday, August 29, 2019 - From the start the nose was just so inviting. Clean, fresh, distinct. Medium body, smooth, drinkable now but feels built for some age. Blackcurrant, some of that lead pencil that I love in the nose, and maybe some tobacco. It did not have the staying power, the stuffing, nor the silkiness and elegance of the Grand Puy Lacoste we had the previous evening. But, for half the price, a very good wine to have.
