Stiff tannins and med tart acids buoy this elder wine. Bravo to a well-produced wine that still brings pleasure. Paying well below 3 figs each for a trio of bottles allows for pats on back to Antinori and my cellar but at well-plus 3 figs a different pair of spectacles.
