Saturday, October 26, 2019 - Winebar [1 Rosé, 3 Whites, 8 Reds, & 8 *shared* bottles] from 10/25/19 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Typically, “We hand harvest and manually sort; once in the vineyard and once in the winery. The primary fermentation lasts 2-3 wks, & the malolactic fermentation can last until early spring of the next yr.” 1,064 cases produced.

N: BUTTER (with hints of popcorn?), lemons WAY underneath?

P: MF, poss Med, body; RNDISH entry with nice, almost swtish OAK atop some frt charmingly counterbalanced by an acidity which subtly keeps things in check into & through the LONG, balanced finish with a currently elegant tangy/swtness. Nonetheless, I'D drink this by mid '20 just to INSURE the oak doesn't go beserk. 14.5% ABV; My VG+/EXC-. 94 pts WA & 91+ Vinous (Galloni). [Check with this vendor if interested in their very COMPETITIVE price.]
