Very tasty bottle, in a great sport now with both composure and freshness. Smooth mouthfeel and right amount of acidity to balance the sunny fruit. Do not see much upside, good to go👍

Light gold. Honey and ripe golden delicious aromas with some nutmeg. On the palate - very extracted (wife thought this was Australian) with ripe stone fruits, sweet cashews, warm Hawaiian buns, with a creamy finish electrified by zippy acidity. Clearly has plenty of life ahead, perhaps with room for slight improvement. Super pleasurable and slightly hedonistic! 92-93

Light-medium yellow in color. Aromas of very ripe pears, golden delicious apples, lemon zest, vanilla and creamy oak on the nose. Rich and unctuous on the palate with buttered, citrus and vanilla poached pears, medium (-) acidity and a long creamy and sweet honey-suckle finish.

Light yellow in color. Hint of toasted sesame, ripe orchard fruits, honeysuckle, yellow florals on the nose. Medium-bodied palate shows good depth to the sappy buttered pears, honey, yellow citrus zest, medium acidity and a long toasty finish. Great QPR

At this point, a beautiful golden color. Very ripe pear and bruised, ripe apple flavors, along with a touch of honey. A fair amount of nicely integrated oak and a long finish. Hansel chards and pinots are the best, high quality QPR available.
Aging very well. It’s one of the great values among CA Chards. Smooth, long lingering flavor with the right amount of acid for drinking by itself and with food. Highly recommended.

For a sub$40 bottle this fights well above its weight. Stone fruit nose with a rich palate of apple, leeches and tangerine. Not overly sweet but round and giving. Definately Cali but the oak is not overblown.

POPPACORK is right with the burnt/bitter oak comment, also bruised red delicious apples on palate with a touch of butter that blows off but could not get past the "burnt/bitter" wood/oak finish. Cousin Pudge thought is was drinkable. Same notes on 2nd day. Cousin Pudge thought it more bitter 2nd day.

Beautiful medium gold appearance. Immediately inviting... clean toasty note on the nose, wet stone, some light petrol, fresh lemons, and a touch of tropical - and quite youthful yet... dry, medium plus body and matched acidity. There is a subtle creaminess and elegant green apple core. Super balance - amazed how well the oak integrates without dominating. French oak if I had to guess... will check after tasting. The finish is medium to medium minus in length- but I think that works well with this presentation. You will not tire of this wine. Excellent...
Medium golden yellow in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, peaches & citrus notes of lemons/limes with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle, minerals, stony, spices & a hint of vanilla/toasty oak in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth texture, ripe flavors of apples, pears & lemons/limes with honey, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the fruit & structure to continue with its development for a few more additional years if cellared properly.

The nose presents bruised apple and toast with a hint of citrus. This profile continues onto the creamy full-bodied palate, but there is a bitter oak note which consumes the finish.

N: BUTTER (with hints of popcorn?), lemons WAY underneath?
P: MF, poss Med, body; RNDISH entry with nice, almost swtish OAK atop some frt charmingly counterbalanced by an acidity which subtly keeps things in check into & through the LONG, balanced finish with a currently elegant tangy/swtness. Nonetheless, I'D drink this by mid '20 just to INSURE the oak doesn't go beserk. 14.5% ABV; My VG+/EXC-. 94 pts WA & 91+ Vinous (Galloni). [Check with this vendor if interested in their very COMPETITIVE price.]

Lemon tart, yellow apple, gun flint, light butter cream, quince, sea shells, absolute perfect balance with an apparent sweetness due to the ripeness of the fruit. This is really good now as a PnP, terrific QPR at the 30ish price range.

Very smooth Chardonnay. Ripe fruit, buttery, low acid and soft oak. This is a bold chard that won’t be overpowered by many meals. My wife and three friends all preferred this to several other high end chards we have had lately. Definitely made in the big Cali chard style but Hansel pulled it off well. This wine keeps you coming back for more.
