Saturday, December 21, 2019 - Sat, 12/21/19, $2 Tasting (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Should you be interested, I’ve uploaded info for this vintage which you can peruse at your leisure. 😉
N: Closed; Garrigue, earth, & flowers, hints of iron with swirling? Intensity lurking?
P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which stays in contact with the init frt as if fairly seamlessly, MOSTLY resolves as it transitions into a LONG, BALANCED finish with a tangy/swtness to the few, firming, but at least to me, fairly unoffensive DUSTY tannins. For now with food (IF one can get by the brief, mid-P firmness), then drinking through '23? VERY nicely done! 14.5% ABV; My EXC-, which is on the low side *if* one factors QPR into the equation. [This vendor's $12.95 puts it in the TOP 20% of wine-searcher's postings.]

10/26/2021 9:41:00 AM - Sorry SRH for not coming back on your comment on my last tasting note on this wine. I have just done a new note and rated it a solid 89/90 here. At under 10 Euros this is very good value here! Keep on putting on the fantastic work!
