Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - Light, pale gold in color with a constant & fine perlage. Full, fragrant, & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of green apples, citrus notes of lemons/limes & pear with overtones of yeasty/brioche & floral notes, some baking spices & minerals notes. Light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of green apples, lemons/limes & pear with yeasty, creamy, baking spices & minerals. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the fruit & structure to continue development with additional aging. Constantly a solid with a very good QPR for domestic bubbly. [A blend of 70% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay & 10% Pinot Meunier].
