Wednesday, January 22, 2020 - Made with old vine Nebbiolo from one of the highest altitude, south-facing vineyards in Barolo. Clean, with tart red fruit, roses, field herbs and judicious oak spice. Dry palate, with med (+) to high acidity, med (+) tannins (softer than the Ravera). The acohol is high (14.5%) but appears med (+). Beautiful, aromatic, with med (+) flavor intensity and length. Surprisingly approachable yet still quite young and linear. Has lots of upside potential.
