Friday, December 20, 2019 - PnP. Bright young red plum purple. Red fruits, tobacco, garrigue and light fennel. Res plums, dried cherry and dried cranberry aromas. Good fruit extract, high tannin, dry finish that is moderately long. The flavours are all in the fresh and dry red fruit profiles. This is quite a serious, structured wine that needs a few more years to knit together and mellow out. Excellent QPR.

I find this CDR never disappoints…I can taste the lavender even as I write.

Great review & thanks for the timeline. 😊
