Friday, February 14, 2020 - An understated showing but mature with no hard edges, no flaws. Seemed only to be lacking vitality which, given its age, seems no surprise. Understated nose and diminishing fruit, yielding to classic aged Bordeaux flavors of earth, pipe tobacco and a bit of leather. A nice match with grilled NY steak.
