Sunday, April 26, 2020 - Continues to be one of my favorite styles of wine. It is extremely versatile and also pairs with typically difficult foods. We enjoyed this bottle with a spread of burrata and heirloom caprese, various cheeses (puncient sheep, blue vein, truffles goat), ramp escaveche, hard chorizo, and castelvetrano olives. I can’t think of another wine that would work with such a diverse spread.

Expressive nose with orange zest, apricot, vanilla, saline, and metal. Firm tannins (for a whi...orange wine), heavy for a white and light for a red, the pallet follows the nose with a strong mineral vein. Very well balanced with plenty of acidity to carry it for many more years. The finish is medium plus, but is very expressive until the moment it fades.
