Such a rare and fascinating bottle. At 12 years old, tremendous complexity and the balance we perfect...I can't imagine that it could have been any better than this. With that said, I wouldn't worry at all to lay any more of these down for another few years (if only I had more of this). Apricot, almond, quince, granite, strawberry, rich backbone of minerality. Rather full bodied for a white...or medium bodied for a rosé. The tannic nature and incredibly long earthy finish resonate with power. Such a wildly good wine.

Contrary to others' experiences here, this bottle did not offer much. A quiet, austere wine of some interest but not excitement. A little better than that when paired with spinach / zucchini soup topped with pancetta. And a little better still on night two when some inner sweetness emerged. Past prime.

A brilliant wine with loads of character. Ripe pear, baked pie crust, orange marmalade, flowers and exotic spices. The defining characteristic is the long, juicy, tart finish which is necessary to conclude the rich finish. I believe many would think this to be a tart red wine if tasted completely blind from a black glass due to the complexity and rich, slightly tannic mouthfeel. No hints of becoming tired in any way, this wine may be at peak but I suspect will still be going strong in another 5-6 years.

Continues to be one of my favorite styles of wine. It is extremely versatile and also pairs with typically difficult foods. We enjoyed this bottle with a spread of burrata and heirloom caprese, various cheeses (puncient sheep, blue vein, truffles goat), ramp escaveche, hard chorizo, and castelvetrano olives. I can’t think of another wine that would work with such a diverse spread.
Expressive nose with orange zest, apricot, vanilla, saline, and metal. Firm tannins (for a whi...orange wine), heavy for a white and light for a red, the pallet follows the nose with a strong mineral vein. Very well balanced with plenty of acidity to carry it for many more years. The finish is medium plus, but is very expressive until the moment it fades. 8-18-8-9

Savory and mineral, just right with cheeses, salumi and bread. Unique and interesting. Could benefit from more depth. Worth a try but not really worth seeking out.

To my recollection - this was my first bottle of Vitovska, and I was pleasantly surprised. The fruit was tropical, lean but expressive, and there was a touch fennel on the finish.

yellow-orange. nose of white stone fruit. wet stone, mineral, nectarine and apricot. full bodied with moderate length. pricey, yet satisfying, with clams, shrimp, and pasta.

After an impressive first bottle, this third and the second bottle before it were best deposited in the sink. Perhaps the next and final bottle will redeem this effort. But I'm not very optimistic.

Classico ambra dorato. Naso tra albicocca disidratata e ruggine, iodio e salsedine, cappero, erbe aromatiche, sottobosco. Sapido, avvolgente, grasso, infinito nella chiusura di scorza di arancia amara

Date of consumption not recorded but I remember being intrigued by this delicious and complex wine. Thankfully not an oxidized style, although there are hints of it in the mix, it wasn't dominant. ~92

Fantastic representation of a wonderful style of winemaking. Aricot, vanilla, honeysuckle, kafire, almonds, and stone. Amazingly full body with serious grip and a serious texture. White in color (kinda...well...light orange...), but the palette is reminicent of a top tier beaujelaise combined with sauvignon blanc. Very long finish. Outstanding. Wine. Period. 8-19-9-9

Most interesting white I have had in awhile. benefitted greatly with 60+ minutes in a decanter. Almost orange wine, and absolutely delicious with scallops.

Needs some air. I tend to drink whites on the somewhat warmer side of things and this was better when allowed to warm even more than usual. With some air, and when drunk at a fairly warm temperature, it is a flavorful and unique wine. Stone fruited and acidic. Had this with Vietnamese food, but I think there are better potential pairings.

Incredible salmon/peach color (from extended skin contact perhaps?) A little initial funky aroma dissipated quickly enough. Stony and fairly austere with some fruit in the background. Definitely an out of the ordinary bottle. Will be interesting to follow the development of remaining bottles.

Vitovska anforata di un bel giallo dorato invitante. Naso asciugante e secco che fa molto Ribolla, un pó di fecce e frumento. In bocca è aggraziato, piuttosto morbido, l' anfora non invade. Beva succosa

Second bottle and I wish I had more. This one seemed a little more austere but pulled me in and kept me drinking

The color suggests oxidizing. It's not. Consistent notes with nine months ago. A fine food wine, holding up well.
