Monday, March 4, 2019 - Krotida Wine Gang Tasting, Trying Xinomavro (Simul Restaurant): The wine shows high intensity in the nose, clean ripe red fruit at first and then rusticity comes with olives and tomato, very elegant, some roasted notes, coffee and chocolate, herbal freshness.
In the palate, the wine is very delicate, sweet red fruit, spicy, medium body and acidity, medium to big tannins but not aggressive, spicy, earthy, nutty, medium to long finish.
Outstanding quality with a long life ahead. The bottle came from the winery so much better provenance.
