Saturday, May 2, 2020 - Steak off! (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Cedar, blackcurrant initially with sweet spice. Over time cream, plain chocolate, tobacco notes and slight brambles show in a supporting role on the nose as well as a slightly jammy fruit note, oddly. in the mouth it's more savoury than I expected it to be, juicy medium plus acidity, cedar, blackcurrant and brambles, tight, grippy, chalky tannins carry the fruit long. This is lovely.
