Wednesday, May 6, 2020 - Cf. the CellarTracker Article link [lower lft] to get specific info for this vintage, including acclaim.

N: Closed; Lanolin, poss minerals, with notes of peaches

P: Med, poss MF, body; Very RNDISH entry with very NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (threshold R.S., it would seem) that shows hints of honey as it's beautifully counterbalanced by an acidity which seamlessly morphs into a LONG, balanced, pleasantly tangy/swt finish. With the night's Chinese Chx Salad (sltly swt) it showed some palate-cleansing bitterness which was NOT a problem, particularly as the wine's gradual warming lessened the effect. Drink now & (safely) into '22, the "2029" currently showing here likely being skewed by 1 pro reviewer's 2045. My EXC-/EXC. [As of mid May '20, wine-searcher still shows 2 sources @ $33].
