Wednesday, June 17, 2020 - Initial aroma is somewhat oxidized followed by a restrained nutty/buttery note.
Flavour is medium to full bodied green fruit/citrus with some floral, minerality & salinity in the background. This is a classic cool climate flavour profile. The texture is very smooth & creamy due to the malolactic fermentation & probably aging on lees.
This creaminess is compensated by high acidity & finish is long.
The ABV is 14.5% & given the flavour & artistry of this wine, it is very well balanced.
