Lemon-themed meal with grilled salmon, spaghetti a la limone and asparagus with feta and lemon zest. This chardonnay went perfectly with just the right combination of weight and acidity. Delicious!

(at The Ryder Cup Bar - Kiawah) Skirts the fine line of richness and vibrancy. Elevated alcohol but not over the line. The fruit is pure. Nice but not more. (90)

Medium gold in colour with aromas of earthy minerality, apples & nuts. On the palate, medium bodied citrus/lemon, green apple, nutty, somewhat buttery & creamy, a saline backbone & medium to high acidity. The finish is long to spice & a chalky minerality. There is very good flavour & texture complexity.

Very well balanced Chardonnay for the price. Straw gold color. Notes of tropical fruits, melons, lemon zest, white flowers. Full bodied goodness, medium acidity, medium long finish. The 14.5% alcohol is well integrated and does not make the wine run hot. Very smooth with not a jagged note. Imminently enjoyable. WS 91 pts and WA 91 pts are spot on.

First bottle of BC in a while. Nicely chilled, PnP, drank over 2 hours.
Medium yellow/gold color. Nose reticent at first, showing white flowers, orchard fruit and lees. Palate of candied citrus, pineapple, apricot and almonds. Minimal oak, nice texture throughout, full bodied and long finish.
Drinking well at this stage, took about 20 minutes to really show. Will be at its best over next couple years (IMO). Good QPR for what I paid

Initial aroma is somewhat oxidized followed by a restrained nutty/buttery note. Flavour is medium to full bodied green fruit/citrus with some floral, minerality & salinity in the background. This is a classic cool climate flavour profile. The texture is very smooth & creamy due to the malolactic fermentation & probably aging on lees. This creaminess is compensated by high acidity & finish is long. The ABV is 14.5% & given the flavour & artistry of this wine, it is very well balanced.

Medium-bodied, straw colored, nicely balanced with quite a bit of alcohol, but the acid stands up to it nicely, Decanter writes of' 'a touch of hazelnut signals masterful and very restrained handling of oak - only neutral barrels were used', notes of citrus, apple, passionfruit and what Vinous calls 'a whole range of tropical inflections'.
Aroma: odd, perhaps oxidized nose. Some nuts and tropical fruit. Palate: bright, crisp and lively with tropical and pome fruit flavors over a mineral backbone. Wood notes and spice. Very good complexity and structure.

Notes of ripe apricots, white flowers, creme brûlée, and hints of honey. Medium to full bodied, made in a very hedonistic and super ripe style, but with good focus and grip on the long finish.

Medium/dark gold colour. Nose of lemon/lime, apple, and hints of vanilla. Loads of intensity here! Flavours of golden delicious apple mingle with hints of pineapple. This wine has full body and the presence of oak gives some richness and a slight caramel note. Citrus flavours join bright acidity on the back end and give this wine terrific balance. Already complex, it will now doubt develop more nuances over the next 5 - 7 years. Excellent. www.advinetures.ca

Echo RAHULCHATTERJEE's preceding notes. Keenly balanced, the citrus and oak fall into place in a lasting bath of grilled lemons.

Maybe not the most pleasant nose when initially opened. Nice citrus flavors with a decent amount of acidity.

I really liked this. It had really nice aromas of daisies, honeysuckle and buttercup. Nice balance of butter and citrus on the palate.

This winery eschews the over oaking and malolactic chardonnays so trendy today. Thank God someone is. I find the others intolerable.

Still has that nut and cream on the nose. All neutral oak so it has some acidity to it. Vibrant, its actually tastier than I remember it being.
