Wednesday, August 12, 2020 - Coravin fun - Domaine de Chevalier rouge; 8/4/2020-8/12/2020 (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas of blackcurrant, a kind of roasted berry biscuit note, cream, tiny touches of plum and black cherry, a little wetness here as well. On the palate it has medium plus intensity acidity, that roasted berry note is underpinning blackcurrant, plum and cream. Tannins are soft, silky, yielding, a little red currant. Very primary still. It's a bit 'elbows' on this tasting. I was expecting more I must confess.
