Sunday, September 6, 2020 - Very enjoyable Chardonnay. Pleasant, but not remarkable aromatically, citrus and pear perhaps. Really shines on the palate, bringing a top flight combination of richness and freshness, poached pear and lemon rind. Rounded mid-palate that evolves into a long finish of pure stone fruits and fine texture.
Worth noting this is stainless steel, no oak, no ML, but with lees contact, sub-13% ABV. Maybe it's the lees, but retains freshness without feeling one dimensional.
