Tuesday, December 1, 2020 - Brought this to taste side-side the '10 Cailles. Decanted for ~6-hrs prior to serving. At once, a "young nose" of sweet-cherries, caramel, vanilla spice, violets wafted from the glass. Palate was definitely more primary than the '10, with dark-red-to-black fruits, and noticeably denser too, but still had that nice lift & freshness/acidity culminating in a focused & long finish. A beautiful NSG, and will definitely improve with cellar-time!
