Tuesday, January 12, 2021 - Quick decant, a big nose of dark fruit, prune, underbrush. The palate is quite tart, with a bigger bite than a normal zin, the alicante bouschet makes itself known in how the acidity presents. The tannins are relatively quiet but still present. A little sweet in the right way with a superlative mouthfeel, this is an excellent Ridge blend.
