  A Ridge Tahoe Weekend; 6/29/2023-7/2/2023 (Edgewood Resort): Drinks really quite well and even when I came back after the 05 Lytton (which was clearly the winner of this flight) this was still drinking quite nicely. Darker fruits. Pepper. Raspberry. There’s this kind of tension in the wine between the dark and almost brooding and brightness. I suspect this is a wine that would benefit from some additional age. The years it already has look good on it. From vines that were originally planted in the 1890’s and then filled in post prohibition. Very enjoyable.

  No formal notes - working from memory. Very much fruit-driven. Dried cherries, quince jam, toasted almond, black licorice, thyme. Quite nice.
