Sunday, March 7, 2021 - Four hour decant. Deep dark ruby magenta color. Steak, dark chocolate, and plum on the uniquely meaty nose. Smooth, dry, full bodied palate, with grainy acidity. Firm, modestly spicy tannins on the longish finish.

Once I got used to the Syrah-like personality of this Cab, I really enjoyed it. Very unusual, but clearly well made and well integrated. I wouldn’t necessarily want this every day. For some reason these Younntville Cabs always have a savory undertone.
