Saturday, April 3, 2021 - Blackish crimson belly, fine clay edge that’s only just starting to show a little age in the colour. Baked fruit cake with dark chocolate on the nose. Complex delineated flavours. Rich and jammy red fruits. Some vanilla and plum cake on the palate, lots of marzipan. Integrated wine but still youthful. 14 years old but I will wait another 3 to 5 years before opening the next bottle.
