Thursday, May 20, 2021 - Decanted 1+ hour, kept at 68F. Pristinely stored bottle. Really liked the structure of this wine - better than many other non-high elevation Turley Zins! Fairly deep, spicy fruit with some grilled meat and lots of pepper. Seemed fairly representative of Paso, with some nicely integrated tannins. Some chalky minerally on the finish, but nicely integrated with fruit. No sign of the 15.7% ABV, and this didn't come across as very acidic. ne taster detected some interesting cigar paper notes...
