Not drying at all given the intensity of the fruit probably the alcohol.
Comments: Once again open and decant at 5 and serve at 7.
Rich robust huge wine with lots of black fruits and acidic back bone to stand up to rich exotic savory spicy foods. Especially traditional Mexican and Tex Mex along with Pacific coastal Mexican seafood.
Pairing Suggestions: This would be a great Mexican food wine. I’m talking Carnitas, Fajitas, Chicken Mole Enchiladas, Carne Asada. Knock yourself out.
Score in terms of Vintage: 89
Score for the Wine: 89+
Value for the Money: Very Good 😀
