Sunday, August 29, 2021 - Haven’t poured in years, had friends for dinner who generally prefer Napa, but will allow me to pour them old world as well. They needed a comfort eve, so poured this and an 07 Mondavi Reserve. The Carter was the better liked, rich feeling on palate, balance between tannins and fruit, lengthy finish. This is a big Napa cab, lots of fruit with great structure. I think its beginning to end its time, see no point to wait.
