2/24/2023 8:48:00 AM - The Ferrari factory is nearby, worth a visit- and a fifteen minute test drive. Modena is nearby, for the worlds best balsamico. And you can check out prosciutto and parmigiana manufacturers. We actually did all four in one amazing day.

1/30/2023 6:34:00 AM - Am honored by your friend request; of course! Just retired after 37+ years as a pediatric neurologist. With travel back, we are headed to Bologna in the fall. Have you been to that region? Any advice?

11/1/2015 7:39:00 AM - Ask for James Olson, the manager- tell him Max H sent you- its on the main street in Cold Spring Harbor and it will bring you back to the old Mirabelle, but also show some new entries- and its clearly Guy in the kitchen. Ginger Almond Tart, duck, warm goat cheese salad- haven't lost their appeal in 32 years

11/1/2015 6:36:00 AM - I just read your note on Guy Reuge now having a new place. I was a big fan when he owned Mirabelle in St. James, but not so much when he sold and went corporate. I will have to check out his new restaurant.

10/24/2015 4:32:00 PM - Bacchus I tried but techno failed to find the email. The world knows my email so why not a new wine friend. Mcapacious@aol.com Email me and we will find a time and place! And of course, a bottle or three

10/24/2015 11:02:00 AM - If you Google Bacchus cellartracker 791, my email is revealed. When done, delete this message. Would love to meet you and your wife.

7/3/2015 6:22:00 PM - Hey Capacious! You have a fair number of years on us in terms of age and sipping, but we share your love of Napa, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Piemonte...and throw in Tuscany, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Argentina, Chile...too many wines, not enough time! We only have a Beagle so we have a bit more time to sip ;-)

  • capacious says:

6/6/2015 3:40:00 PM - The barbecue place that had about 10 customers besides us leaving shaking their heads saying boy are they screwed up in there was Granger's.

  • gesusser says:

5/29/2015 2:28:00 PM - We live in Delray Beach FL...what BBQ/rib place was the worst service ever ??

  • capacious says:

3/22/2014 5:06:00 AM - I got these from the wine cellarage and Alan Marschock 718-991-5700

3/21/2014 2:28:00 PM - Noticed you added some Vajra to your cellar. My wife and I were in Italy last fall and tried the Vajra Barbera d' Alba Superiore 2009. It was amazing. Great wine for the $40USD we spent at the restaurant. Need to find a good source for Vajra wines. Any suggestions?

11/16/2013 4:22:00 AM - The position of child is filled I'm happy to say. I do know how fortunate we are to have been able to have this cellar. Thanks for the message.

11/15/2013 3:57:00 PM - Cap, I had commented on your Craig post today and couldn't resist looking at your cellar. Can you use another child? You have some amazing wines. Barry

  • capacious says:

8/5/2013 5:42:00 AM - Thanks for the view of our cellar. Yes I agree on the time issue-the old cliche about so many wines and so little time-thats what friends are for

8/4/2013 9:26:00 AM - Heckuva nice cellar there, Dr. Here's hoping you find the time to enjoy it.
