Wednesday, September 22, 2021 - Tasted blind. Decanted. Clear, pale yellow. Med aromas of ripe yellow apple, white flowers, candied lemon, white flowers, bread from possible lees aging. No oak apparent. Youthful. Dry, with nice sweet fruit, med (+) acidity, med alcohol (12%). Med body, flavor intensity and length, with a slight bitterness and mineral saltiness on the finish. Drink now or over the next few years, not intended for aging.

Cool to moderate climate, Old World characteristics. Possible varieties include Albarinho, Gruner, Garganega and (possibly) unoaked, no MLF Chardonnay. Not really elegant enough to be a Chablis, not aromatic or complex enough to be an Albarinho and not enough minerality and smoke to be a Soave Classico.
