Sunday, October 10, 2021 - I think maybe a little over the hill. Tasted about an hour after opening, with consistent notes over the next 2 hours. Nicely intense nose, with blue/blackberry, earth, and a bit of woodiness. Medium to full-bodied, the palate had more dark fruit, altho it was somewhat one dimensional. The tannins were very drying throughout, which makes me think this may be a bit past prime.
