Friday, January 14, 2022 - Pale ruby coloured. This has a lovely ‘Pinot nose’, with aromas of red fruits, mushrooms, undergrowth and a nice lifted floral character. Nicely balanced on the palate, lots of acidity, the tannins are still there enough to keep everything nice and dry on the finish. Reasonably linear, not a huge amount of complexity, there’s a nice spicy note (from the oak?) on the finish. Via Coravin.
