Wednesday, February 23, 2022 - Opened 3hrs prior to dinner & chose to slow-ox in Riedel Burgs & btl till dinner. Semi translucent ruby red with some ambering on the outer edge. Perfuse aromas of red berries & forest floor. Mineral infused red fruit along with hint of cinnamon and more forest floor. Mirrors the Morgan profile but less sure footed. Still, a very intriguing "taste of Foillard" pedigree for $26 locally. Drinks more mature Burgundian than many Beaujolais. Throwing a fair amount of sediment. Handle btl w/ care. 12.5% alc.
