Sunday, May 15, 2022 - Starts out a touch flabby and disjointed with low acid with goopy fruit. Seems consistent with the vintage. After roughly 1.5 hours, this is singing. The acid has perked up, lifting the fruit to reveal apples and pear and nice sense of minerality. The fruit is much more focused, with more Chablis typicity, though missing the chalky notes I love in Chablis. I have no idea the future of this wine. It seems like I will drink the majority of my bottles sooner with a good decant.
