The warmth of the vintage was evident with a lovely note of honey on the nose. Captivating expression with requisite mineral and citrus coming along at different moments. Clearly on the riper side for Chablis but it all works. Until night two when it pretty much falls apart. The tartness of the acidity just dominates the expression now. Air and warmth don't really improve things. So probably like the '15's I'll put this in the drink soon windows.

Gilman got this one right. This 18 MdT manages to do something that few other 18s can achieve - that is, it tastes like Chablis! It’s focused, relatively restrained, with crisp acidity and good concentration. I was impressed and this crushed with tuna nigiri.

Ripe orchard fruit aromatics with floral notes, then both ripe and lean apple & pear flavors with wonderful energy. Just barely approachable, this has the stuffing to go to 2030+.
